Addiction Recover Ministry, Fall Bazaar and more at Fox Chapel area churches

St. Juan Diego

• The parish’s Addiction Recovery Ministry will host a program at 7 p.m. Nov. 7 at the John Paul I Center, 201 9th Street, Sharpsburg.

Dr. Janet Astle from the Duquesne School of Pharmacy will offer a demonstration of naloxone, the opioid reversal spray.

• Enjoy cooking? Want to help the youth? Vagabond Ministries will have a weekly youth outreach night on Tuesdays called “Breakout” and the church needs help to provide dinner.

Volunteers arrive at 5:30 p.m. to set up food for about 30 people. Anyone willing to prepare a meal for the group is asked to contact Pam Susi at [email protected] or 412-781-5696.

Fox Chapel Presbyterian

The church will host a vocal concert by Believe at 4 p.m. Nov. 17. The group is a six-member male ensemble that sings sacred to secular music from classical to pop.

There will be a freewill offering.

St. Scholastica

• The church will host a blood drive in the parish hall, 309 Brilliant Ave., Aspinwall, from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Nov. 10. • Middle and high school students are invited to learn about their faith at weekly meetings that will include fun activities and discussions. Aspinwall Presbyterian

Come and enjoy the Fall Bazaar on Nov. 9. There will be a bake sale, pulled pork sandwiches, soup and a selection of housewares, toys, furniture and more for sale.
