Activities at Sharpsburg Community Library can be registered for by calling 412-781-0783.

• Homework Help, 3:30 to 5 p.m. Sept. 19. Achieve classroom excellence with free tutoring. Math, reading, writing and science through eighth grade.

Drop-ins welcome.

• What Our Parents Taught Us art reception, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Sept. 20.

Sharpsburg resident Pam Bruno’s work will be featured alongside collaborative projects with various family members. Light refreshments will be served. Donations accepted.

• Green Grocer, 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. Sept. 23. Buy fruits, vegetables and herbs from the truck that visits weekly. It will be in the library parking lot at 1212 Main St.

• National Voter Registration Day, 1 to 4 p.m. Sept. 24. The League of Women Voters will be on hand to help with registration.

• Evening Book Discussion, 7 to 8 p.m. Sept. 23. This month’s book is “Imagine Me Gone” by Adam Haslett. Refreshments will be provided.

• NovelKnitters, 6 to 8 p.m. Sept. 25. Beginners are welcome.
